The estate has a line of schist running through the property, and in comparison to other vineyards of Fleurie, theirs are 80% more sandy.
This negoce wine was first produced in 2016 following the devastation caused by hail to the estate. The fruit comes from an organically farmed 2 hectare plot comprising of white clay, schist and sandstone. Elevage is 5 months in old barrels. Brambly red fruits, currants and red apple skins. The spine is focused with fine tannins, caressed by fruit along its length - Note from Wine & Food Solutions
